Cub Scouting on the Internet
The Internet is a powerful tool containing a wealth of program resources and helpful information. Literally thousands of Scouting-related sites run the gambit from advancement and ceremonies to skills resources, training, and places to camp. In addition, there are hundreds of chat/e-mail lists that, in themselves, can be valuable communications and information resources. You can easily get confused and overwhelmed. Although non-official (BSA) sites are not endorsed by the Central Florida Council, the following suggestions are all well respected Scouting or national sites that will help make your Internet use immediately productive. As you use the Internet, learn to "bookmark" anything that looks promising, even if you don't use it immediately. Once categorized and organized, this list of bookmarks in itself will become a valuable time saving tool.
