| Camping, Cooking, Spending quality time with my family. | |
| I came from Cuba at the age of 5 with my family in 1967 and we lived in New Jersey until 1981. We moved to South Florida on April 1981. As a young girl, I was never involved in scouting but always loved traveling and the outdoors. My husband and I have gone camping prior to joining the Cub Scouts. My son, David, wanted to join the Cub Scouts in second grade and ever since then this has been a great part of our lives. When David became a Bear (3rd grade), I volunteered as his Den Leader. This year, I took the role of Cub Master when the position became available. I enjoy the time spent in Scouting. I, myself, have learned a lot. This year I was selected as Cub Master of the Year. I owe this to my hard work and dedication and to the great Den Leaders and parents who support me. |
